Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of PostGodly, an automation platform that connects to the Meta Threads API to assist with posting, messaging, and account management tasks. By accessing or using PostGodly, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for, accessing, or using PostGodly, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PostGodly provides software tools that interface with the Meta Threads API to help you automate content scheduling, messaging workflows, and account management. The service is designed to streamline your Threads presence; however, we do not guarantee any particular outcomes, performance, or availability of the Threads platform.

PostGodly acts solely as an automation interface. We do not own, manage, or control your Threads account(s), and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of PostGodly requires a valid Threads account and adherence to all applicable third-party terms and policies.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You retain full ownership and responsibility for your Threads accounts and content.
  • You must ensure that your use of PostGodly complies with Meta's Terms of Use, community guidelines, and all applicable laws.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, API keys, and OAuth tokens used with the service.
  • You agree not to use PostGodly for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, including spamming or violating intellectual property rights.
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or security incidents related to your account.

4. Use of the Meta Threads API

PostGodly integrates with the Meta Threads API under the permissions you grant. While we facilitate automation, you remain responsible for ensuring that your usage aligns with Meta's developer policies and rate limits. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we detect misuse, violations of Meta's policies, or actions that could jeopardize our API access.

5. Data Handling & Privacy

We collect limited data necessary to provide the service, including user account IDs, OAuth tokens, scheduling preferences, and automation settings. Our practices are described in thePrivacy Policy. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required to operate the service or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by following the instructions in our Data Deletion page.

6. Service Changes and Availability

PostGodly may update, modify, or discontinue features or the entire service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable if the service becomes unavailable due to maintenance, platform changes, or circumstances beyond our control. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PostGodly is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall PostGodly, its affiliates, or its partners be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the service during the preceding six months.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or industry standards. When changes occur, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you must stop using PostGodly.
